A quiet evolution.
Auto-mate was founded in 2017 by three people with complementary obsessions: an embedded systems engineer, a businessman with deep commercial roots, and an operator who had seen too many home automation projects done badly — oversold, underdelivered, and abandoned after handover.
The premise was simple. Bangalore deserved a home automation company that combined real engineering depth with genuine professional execution. Not electricians who had learned automation from YouTube tutorials. Not glossy showrooms with no follow-through. A team that could design, build, and support complex systems — and be reachable after the invoice was paid.
The company has evolved over the years. The technology has become significantly more sophisticated. The founding premise hasn't changed at all.
Today, Auto-mate is a 15-person in-house team operating from a 2,500 sqft experience center in Bapujinagar, Bangalore, with 650+ projects delivered across India.

We're genuinely brand-agnostic. We work with Control4, Savant, KNX, Lutron, Crestron, Elan, and others — and we recommend what fits your home, your usage patterns, and your budget. Our loyalty is to the project and to the person who will live in it, not to a dealership arrangement or a manufacturer relationship.
Engineering over marketing.
Every system we build is specified intentionally. We over-specify cabling infrastructure, network architecture, and hardware so that the system lasts, expands cleanly, and doesn't quietly fail two years after installation. We don't build to a minimum viable specification — we build for the next decade.
We finish what we start.
Most home automation companies are reachable until the invoice is settled. We're reachable for the life of your home. Software updates, hardware additions, platform upgrades, troubleshooting, expansions — this is a lifelong relationship, not a transaction with a handover document at the end.
